Project Brief:
To develop a new design of fiber Bragg grating interrogation equipment with increased robustness, greater integration and lower cost. Key developments include a Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) tunable Fabry-Perot optical filter, together with an integrated optical circuit fabricated on silicon-on-insulator (SOI).

           - a MEMS tunable Fabry-Perot optical filter
